You have so beautifully and flawlessly captured what makes Psychonauts 2 so special. I'm making my way through the game slowly - deliberately - so that I can drink it all in.
I can't think of a game in recent memory (perhaps Death Stranding, for different reasons) where I was consistently so surprised and delighted at every turn. And while the game's worlds definitely blow you away, it's the subtle elements that I really adore - the things you may not notice if you just blaze through, but that are so utterly clever and thoughtful. It might be as simple as a background object or a painting on the wall. I marvel at these things, and reflect on the consideration and conversations that no doubt sit behind each of them. The developers must have known that many gamers wouldn't notice a great deal of these details, but they included them anyway, because they care that much. Astounding.
