We'll see how it feels in the final game, but I think this is a very clever way for Capcom to combine these different types of encounters. There seem to be some regular enemies in (or around) the castle itself, but I like the idea that the castle is a different type of experience. Arguably, Ethan is "hunter" in the village and "hunted" in the castle, which is a cool dynamic.
