This is a great point that can often be missed. A lot of people talk about games as a way to "vent" or "let off steam". And sure, there's value to that.
But I do fully agree with the point that it should be temporary. The ability to tackle problems and negative emotions openly and through appropriate means (e.g. therapy, exercise, etc...) is really important for a sustainable outcome in the longterm, I believe.
