The GameCube is a really fascinating product - it's the clear transition point between 'traditional' consoles and the Wii. I'm really interested in it for that reason, at least in part.

But I agree that it as home to some fantastic games. Eternal Darkness was amazing - I'd still love to see a remake or remaster, honestly - but I also really enjoyed games like Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine. I remember seeing the Luigi's Mansion reveal and being blown away by how incredible the game looked - it was absolutely on par with Pixar animation at the time, and it felt like something of a rebuff to the then-growing trend of ultra-realistic looking games. I love that Nintendo kept pushing in unique directions.
