It's really heartening to hear that folks are still playing the original Guild Wars. I have really fond memories of this game. It's really the only MMO I ever played/got into, and at one stage, I was playing it with a big group of friends.

I tried getting into GW2 but I really couldn't do it. A lot of friends had kind of dropped off the GW train, and something about the GW2 movement/controls really irked me (I preferred point-and-click to WASD for movement, I think).

Ever since, I haven't really found a game that's taken GW's place. I'm playing a bit of Final Fantasy XIV, but I don't have the same group of friends who are playing it (and the few I do know are on different servers).
