I had a very similar experience to you, James. My last "gaming PC" was a Dell machine that I owned back in around 2004 - 2007 or so. I remember playing Half-Life 2 at max settings on it!

But after that, I bought an iMac. I'd always been a console gamer as well, so I just continued with consoles.

It's only now, in 2021, that I bought another gaming PC. And like yours, it's really full-on, heh. I actually went all-out on it, with a Corsair keyboard/mouse/mousepad, Sennheiser gaming headphones, and a Samsung Odyssey monitor. It's a lovely thing, but it's outrageously ridiculous-looking, haha. I'm also quickly becoming re-acquainted with the need to manage so many manual things around PC gaming. It feels weird after everything being so plug-and-play on consoles for so long.
