I can understand Nintendo wanting to get a shot in the arm from this for the fiscal year, but it seems like a crappy move for players.

I'd rather they keep this game available like any other normal game, but perhaps produce a really elaborate 35th anniversary collector's edition or something. That'd be far more acceptable.
