If you already know some folks who would be good candidates for collaboration on a single project, then that means you’ve already to some rocket fuel for your publication’s engine. That’s a very strong starting point, and one that I didn’t have initially with SUPERJUMP. If you can make it easy for these writers to collaborate (outside Medium, perhaps using tools like Slack), then that’s even better!

And YES to your second point. Our focus on video games means that we aren’t touching a very high-volume topic on Medium, but it also means we’re able to carve out a very strong position in this space because there are very few regularly-updated video game publications here.
